Washer Fill Hose Warning
Washer Fill Hose Warning...
We recommend to replace your hot & cold washer fill hoses every 2-5 years.
Picture below is a washer fill hose about to burst & potentially causing hundreds or even thousands of dollars in water damage. Inspect your hot & cold washer fill hoses for any type of leak or signs of deterioration once a month and replace the hose before it fails. See picture below of a washer fill hose that was removed from one of our customers home prior to it bursting.
Homeowners may not think to check the hoses on their washing machine, but the hose carries pressurized water even when the washer isn't running and can quickly fill a room if it bursts.

Dryer Fires...
What Causes
Dryer Fires?
Lack of maintenance & reduced air flow.
Reduced airflow and the resulting lint build-up
cause overheating by preventing fast enough drying action. When this
happens, the high temperature limit safety switch has to cycle on and
off to control the heater. Most high temperature limit switches were
never designed to cycle on and off continuously which can cause them to
fail over a period of time. Look for these warning signs
· Clothes (especially towels or jeans) take a very long time to dry.
· Clothes are hotter than usual at the end of the cycle.
· Flapper on vent hood doesn't open when dryer is on.
Lack of maintenance is the leading cause of dryer fires, and LINT is the leading material to ignite. These fires can be caused by failure of mechanical and/or electrical parts within the dryer itself, improper materials being put into the dryer, and insufficient airflow as a result of improper installation.

Dirty Kenmore Gas Dryer Pictures Below
This customer was really lucky that their dryer didn't catch on fire & burn the house down. This dryer has about a 1/2" thick layer burnt lint in & around every area of this dryer. This is the worst dryer I have seen that has burnt lint. Many dryers will get about 1/2" thick layer of lint that has not burnt.
These pictures below show why it is so Important that every dryer stays cleaned.
