Do dryers need cleaned & oiled?

Yes, depending on how much your dryer is used they should be cleaned & oiled every year to remove  lint build up inside dryer & dryer venting. If your dryer takes a long time to dry cleaning it could fix the problem. More information on dryer fires.

Do washers need cleaned & oiled?

No, we recommend replacing both washer fill hoses every 3-5 years as a preventive maintenance.

Do refrigerators need cleaned?

Yes, the condenser coil needs cleaned to allow proper air flow across coils so refrigerator will cool properly.

Which type of dryer is better, gas or electric?

Both gas & electric dryers are good. We preferred electric dryers because there is no gas line that could leak gas. If you choose a gas dryer please monitor & check for gas leaks regularly & install a carbon monoxide detector in the same room.

What type (manufacture) of appliance should we purchase?

Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid & Roper would be our recommendation to purchase. They are reasonably priced & very dependable.

When should I replace my appliance verses repairing it?

Most repairs average around $78.44.  If your repair is less than $158.00 it's probably worth repairing. We'll explain the current condition of your appliance during the service call & give you an estimated value on what your appliance is worth so you can make a well-informed decision to repair or replace.
